A long time ago in a galaxy far away………. Rachel and Keir got married at one gorgeous Islington Town Hall with a reception at Clapton Country Club in East London. One of my favourite London venues, part pub, part urban jungle warehouse where you can hire several spaces including your very own opium den!
I met these two lovebirds in January over a flat white at none other than Clapton Country Club Coffee shop. They quickly won me over with two words, lightsaber parade ⚡️. I love quirky weddings and fun couples!
The ceremony took place at Islington Town Hall at the grand Council Chamber surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Soon after the I do’s and the confetti throwing, everyone was whisked away on a vintage red bus to Clapton Country Club.
The stylish couple had gone for lovely warm, earthy vintage vibes with peacock feathers and billy balls. The food was ridiculously tasty, the speeches funny , heartwarming and filled with so many cheers. Keir’s super talented family, including lovely mama, played a classical rendition of the Star Wars theme tune reducing us emotional lot to tears.
It was cold, it was wet and it was more cold and windy but because Rachel and Keir are so awesome we said a big crew you to the elements. We skipped down to Clapton Pond for a fun portrait session with some smoke bombs and dancing in golden hour. We then got the team together, armed everyone with alcohol, sparklers and lightsabers and celebrated May the 4th be with you in true style.
